Shoe & Bench Build Pt. 3 - Welding

A video of me welding with my dads song playing in the background.. I was welding the frame of the shoe bench together and got to thinking, this design is great but it also sucks. It sucks in that I dont have enough straight 1/2" rods to get it done. So I might finish out this bench in half the size and make another one of original size out of 1" box tubing..

I might order more steel rods, and make a second attempt at this project with a few slight modifications. AKA I realize I have made a few errors and I would like to do something different in the design. I want to modify the design in order to make the building of it more efficient and easier to construct, and it would be stronger.
