Welcome to another episode of #WWFuquan, a behind-the-scenes walk-through series dedicated to showing the before, during, and after process of property restorations, providing you with insights into the work that goes into this arduous (yet rewarding) process.

In this episode, Fuquan checks in on “The White House”, a Victorian showpiece property in Orange, NJ, and discusses some of the challenges that he faces as he tries to keep the work on schedule.

The challenges that make it tougher to keep to the planned timeline and budget include dealing with problematic neighbors, expenses associated with replicating the historical format, and acquiring permits and board approval for renovating a historical property.

Despite the challenges, Fuquan remains optimistic about the progress, with the windows replaced, the roof complete, and the interior gutted and reframed. “We keep moving forward. There are no excuses, just results.”
