The Ghost Bridge of the Florida Keys: The Haunted Bahia Honda Railroad Bridge

This is a Sunrise Cinematic Drone Video of the Bahia honda railroad bridge which sits abandoned South of Marathon Florida.

The historic Bahia Honda Rail Bridge next to the overseas highway that goes from Miami and Key West is a jaw-dropper. It was once a key link and the only land route from Key West to the Main Land in now stands silent and rusting, a witness to a century of history. It was opened in 1912 as part of the Overseas Railway, and carried passengers until the railroad was destroyed by the 1935 hurricane.

The hurricane was one of the worst in living memory, with winds of 250 miles per hour. Hundreds drowned including WWI veterans that helped build and maintain the bridge. Some people said, that they can still hear screams around Bahia Honda...
