It’s 2022 NBA Draft week and NBA rumors & news are heating up. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets are at a standstill in negotiations and that he could test the open market in NBA Free Agency. Irving has a player option worth $36.9 million for the 2022-23 season, but it seems more and more likely that he’ll be signing elsewhere. Shams reports that the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and LA Clippers are interested in signing Irving or negotiating a sign-and-trade. Chat Sports host Harrison Graham is LIVE for NBA Now with the latest NBA trade rumors & more.

NBA Free Agency rumors are starting to heat up as well as Shams Charania also reports that Miles Bridges could command a max contract. Bridges had a breakout year with the Charlotte Hornets and is slated to be a restricted free agent. Shams reports that if he signs a max contract offer sheet, Charlotte could be reluctant to match the offer. Jabari Smith remains the favorite to be the #1 pick out of Auburn to the Orlando Magic. While he’s not a lock to go #1, it would be a surprise if he did not.
