Conservatives and Hippies ... Shared Interests Could Create A Powerful Union!

In my search to understand how I, as a long time hippie-type, could have possibly become a conservative, I ran across a very meaningful commentary I felt could be useful in brigding the gap between two otherwise odd bedfellows. In this current fight against "wokeism" and the tyranical left, could conservatives and hippie-types join forces to bring about real change? I do believe so.
