This giraffe showed off its impressive football skills after it finished munching on a bone.

Nurse practitioner Raki, from Stokholm, , was on safari with her husband Brody at Phinda Private Game Reserve, when they saw the incredible footballing feat.

The couple and their guides from andBeyond were watching a young male giraffe eating a bone, when suddenly the young animal decided he had finished his meal and threw it in the air to kick it away.

The amazing football trick was a rare sighting for the avid safari explorers as their guides explained how they've never seen anything like this before.

It appears in the video as though the giraffe is performing a rabona trick, a technique of kicking the football where the kicking leg is crossed behind the back of the standing leg.

Misty said: "We were so surprised and shocked that we caught it on video but also found it very funny straight away.

"Our tracker Jomo and our guide Clive had told us they'd never seen anything like this before in all their years on safari and were asking us to show it to people on the reserve who didn't believe it had happened.

"Everyone who has seen has loved the video, laughed, been shocked and we've had even more of a reaction from the safari guides who have so much experience with giraffes.

"This was our favourite vacation to date and we made some lifetime memories here."
