Laeliocattleya Fuchs Orange Nugget 'Dresden', I have 2... and both have showed symptoms of something dubious going on within the leaf structure. Spring '20 I dunked the orchids into a copper solution, as a last ditch attempt to do something, even if they carry a virus... which we know, cannot be treated... but if it was something else affecting my orchids, then I had to try and see if I can cure it or at least, improve on whatever it is. So, in this video, I revisit both orchids, but there is one that has had my attention from the moment I received it. The back bulb showed blackening but it never was soft. It was always rock hard. Over the 2 years that this orchid has been with me, I wanted to get into that bulb and remove it, but at the time, the orchid did not have enough structures for me to take the bulb off. Now, after several years of growing, it has enough structures to sustain itself, and the next bulb from the back is also going black, so... here goes... lets get into this orchid and have a look see as to what it up!
