Matt presents two exercises that he's seen help people with alleged bone on bone hip pain and femoracetabular impingement (FAI). These exercises address the muscles around the hip joint. The focus on muscles is important to restore function and relieve pain. The bones themselves from a practical standpoint, are highly unlikely to be the cause of pain. Muscles, on the other hand, are well-known to generate pain and discomfort and are the most likely source of hip pain - whether your diagnosis is arthritis, FAI, or a hip labral tear.
