From DREAM to REALITY! Paralyzed firefighter gets his new Rugged, tracked Wheelchair!!!

Join us for today's episode of making a Dream come true! In today's episode we'll bring you the follow up on the "Making a dream come true" fundraiser that we recently had for our neighbor, John Philpott, a paralyzed firefighter, to try to get him a new, outdoors, rugged tracked wheelchair, so that he can once again enjoy the outdoors that he used to enjoy many, many years ago before he became paralyzed. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and rehabilitation all have their limits! After a spinal cord injury 17 years ago John was left with near total paralysis and had to adapt to a new life with incredible limitations! But today could help to change all of that! Today is the delivery of his new Action trackchair, custom fitted outdoor, rugged tracked wheelchair! Join us for the adventure of this extremely memorable day for John and his family! Today we'll see the delivery happen, go over some of the new tracked wheelchair options, and see John take his First ride in his very own rugged, tracked wheelchair, which will help him to once again enjoy the outdoors that he has not been able to enjoy for nearly 2 decades! Of course, none of this would be possible without all of the donors who contributed to this very worthy cause, and also to those who shared this story to help bring in new donor's and future family members to share this adventure with John and his family! Today' we'll get some video shots of John trying out the new tracked wheelchair for the first time, some humor and a heartfelt thanks directly from John to all of those who helped make this possible!
