This Cabinet is a Hot Mess! Part I: See Repair of an Old Walnut Sideboard
Here is a small sideboard that I got from an estate dealer. The piece has lovely bones, but needs extensive cosmetic repairs. In Part I you will see how I glue or patch (or both) the loose veneer, fill the many gouges in the wood and remove the old finish. I believe the wood is walnut, though I'm not 100% sure of that.
