Black Lives Matter & me. Is respect possible?

At the #stopthesteal rally people were screaming at each other. To be fair, “our side” was being worse than the #blacklivesmatter group (for once).
This guy was peaceful and respectful so I pulled him aside and asked if we could have a civil conversation.
I asked him if he believed in my right to protest election fraud and defend our President @realdonaldtrump ...
He said yes. And I told him I fully support his right to use his voice.
I’m a #freespeech absolutist so it really, really bothers me when anyone (right or left) tries to outscream opposition. It’s un-American.
This isn’t the first time I’ve reached out to the opposite side at rallies. There are usually civilized people who are willing to engage in respectful dialogue.
That’s what’s missing in our country right now.
Be better, America.
