Deniz Saat On The Bitcoin Beginner’s Mistakes: Meet The Taco Plebs

For this episode of Bitcoin Magazine’s Meet The Taco Plebs, Nik (@nikcantmine) is joined by Deniz Saat (@DenizMSaat), a humble Taco Pleb who is eager to learn and educate himself and others about Bitcoin as much as possible. You may have seen him around on Twitter, but he has not been featured on too many podcasts or other media yet.

In the video above, Saat shares his rabbit hole story and how he made many of the beginner’s mistakes that most people tend to make. This includes playing around with shitcoins and spending money on mining rigs that just did not work out. He talks about how he first experienced Bitcoin back in 2013 around the time it was priced at ~$1,000 per coin. But he did not actually buy into BTC until a few years later because he listened to mainstream financial folks such as Warren Buffet, who talked poorly of bitcoin, which kept him away.

Nik and Deniz also discuss the fact that these people may never “get” Bitcoin and how that’s perfectly fine.
