Before Mom leaves for her evening break, the Owlet cough's up a pellet. A pellet is the undigested part of the food they eat. Such as the bones, hair, fur, and feathers. This aids with proper digestion so the next meal may be eaten without any blockage and also cleanses the digestive tract, removing any pathogens and keeping the Owl healthy.
