The Prosperity Gospel

We have no command in God’s Word to pursue money or pleasure. Instead, we are instructed to:
pursue justice (Deut 16:20)
pursue wisdom and understanding (Prov 4:7)
pursue knowledge (Prov 18:15)
pursue peace and mutual edification (Rom 14:19)
pursue that which is good for one another and for all people (1 Thess 5:15)
pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness (1 Tim 6:11)
pursue holiness (Heb 12:14)
