Stories That Inspire Us welcomed to today’s podcast, Jennifer Henry. Jennifer is the founder of Lifestyle Recovery Solutions. She is also certified as a Personal Trainer, Health Coach, Life Coach, Master Transformation Coach (NLP), Functional Nutrition Coach, Fitness in Recovery Coach and a Lifestyle Recovery Coach.

Jenn’s history of addiction began at an early age. She did not hold back any detail of her story. She became addicted to meth and this started an outrageous cycle of further addiction, homelessness, and (2) stints in prison. At one point, Jenn was in rehab for 18 months and eventually, because of her insistence to detox off of not only meth, but the drugs they prescribed for her, she realized she wanted to be clear minded and feel what she needed to process and feel to move forward in life.

She boldly stated at one point that she was on an installment plan with suicide - she was doing all of the things that she well knew she could die from yet she didn’t want to die - think about that for a moment. She profoundly stated that suicide was a permanent solution to a temporary problem and it was then at one of those moments, she realized that she did want to live and inspire others.

“ . . . whenever you’re not ever told “NO”, when you’re never given any consequences someone’s going to give them to you . . .”

For the last decade, Jennifer has been on a mission to shift the growing epidemic of Chronic Disconnection and unhealthy habits. Our inability to connect with who we truly are, or what we really want in life, has led to the decline of our society's mental and physical health. Her goal is to help as many people as possible, to reach the level of success in their health and their life that they truly desire. She has created multiple programs designed to address clients specific needs, in any and all aspects of their lives, so that they can begin to take control of what they really want.

“ . . . You are the only one who gets to decide what you experience in this life. . .”

Jenn is in the process of writing her book and will keep us posted on when it will be published. Jenn Henry - making “shift happen”. How will you make your shift happen?
