Mom and Owlbrey By The Marsh 🦉 4/22/22 06:47

Mom and her Owlet are perched in a tree down by the marsh. One can easily tell this is Mom by the size of her head and body. Dad is much slimmer and won't be hanging out right next to the Owlet, as that is Mom's job and we have seen that she takes her job very seriously. Mom and Dad will still continue to provide their Owlet with food, while hunting skills are now being taught and perfected. They will be together until late September to early October. At that time, the Owlet will be pushed out of their territory to go claim her own and start her new life as an adult Great Horned Owl.
