I love sauerkraut! I love it for the flavor and the health benefits. I hope I help you see how easy it is.

Sauerkraut Recipe
1 head cabbage
2% of weight of cabbage, of salt

2% weight of cabbage = salt by weight
EX: My bowl weighed 788g, total weight was 1732
1732g - 788g = 944g (Weight of cabbage)
944g X .02 = 18.18g (how much salt needed)
