Do I have a soul - NDEs

The Bible teaches that man’s soul continues to live after the body dies. We read of Rachel:

It came about as her soul was departing (for she died), that she named him Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin. (Gen 35:18 NASB)

If the soul survives death, this necessitates the soul being something distinct from the physical body.
