Welcome to another episode of #WWFuquan, a behind-the-scenes walk-through series dedicated to showing the before, during, and after process of property restorations, providing you with insights into the work that goes into this arduous (yet rewarding) process.

In this episode, Fuquan takes us along as he revisits his South Orange, NJ renovation project. The plan is to get the property on the market in the next 2 months, and even though there have been some delays, the project has managed to keep on track.

The main challenges on this project are the added expenses of having to replace the siding rather than painting over it, dealing with the radiators, and uninstalling windows. Extra spending is unavoidable if the result is an overall better quality product.

The work that has been done on the property so far includes opening up the foyer/living/dining/kitchen area on the first floor, gutting and framing the bathrooms, removing stairs in the kitchen, changing the basement entrance, and the HVAC, electrical, and PVC roughing.

Fuquan gives some advice: “What you put out there, and you visualize it, it actually comes true. So, be careful what you ask for.”
