Fratello The Texan cigar is HUGE!
Fratello made a second regional cigar, after the DMV, for Texas. Aptly named The Texan, this cigar is massive (for me) at 7 1/8 x 58 and was produced in the La Aurora Cigar Factory.
Let's break down the blend and then learn more about it!
Wrapper - Ecuador Havana Vuelta Abajo
Binder - Indonesian Sumatra
Filler - Dominician Republic Piloto Cubano Ligero & Andullo, Nicaragua (Estelí) Ligero and Pennsylvania Ligero
Quoting Cigar Coop "Andullo tobacco undergoes a very different curing process than traditional cigar tobacco leaves. This involves putting tobacco leaves in palm seed pods. The pods are then wrapped in rope, causing the Andullo tobacco to compress into a thick bar almost looking like a roll of salami. Once it has hardened, it typically is carved off. Andullo tobacco is a tobacco that is used for several blends at the La Aurora Cigar factory."
