Phone Pulled From Fire Still Functions

Occurred on June 2, 2022 / Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Info from Licensor: "Backyard campfire at my sister-in-law's house with her friend Danica and my husband Tyler. Danica ordered Uber eats and put her phone into the Uber eats brown bag and forgot about it. When it came to the end of the night Danica couldn’t find her phone anywhere after we looked endlessly for it. Turns out Shelby put that brown paper bag into the fire ( not realizing a phone was in it) the phone had been melting away while we roasted our marshmallows and it would’ve been in the fire for about 30 minutes.

After the fire was put out they then realized that Danica’s phone was in the fire pit. She was devastated and didn’t know whether to cry or laugh. We took the phone up to show Shelby and that’s when we took the $4 Kmart phone case off and realized the back of the phone was completely fine. When we flipped it around Danica realized she had a protector on it and we screamed with excitement when we saw the phone turn on and lit up and the Home Screen saying “9:43 pm - Sleep well, Your alarm is Set for 6 am”"
