How to make Mashed Potatoes with Sardines in Tomato Sauce / Como Fazer Purê de Batata ao forno com Sardinha em Lata
INGREDIENTS:
• 3 cans of sardines in tomato sauce
• 1 kg of potatoes
• 1 cup (200g) of cream cheese
• 1 cup (200g) of heavy whipping cream
• (100g) of grated parmesan cheese
• 150g of mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup of milk
• Butter for greasing
• Salt
Tip: Canned sardines can be substituted for tuna.
PREPARATION:
1. Cook the potatoes with salt. Pass the potatoes through the ricer and add half of the cream cheese, half of the heavy whipping cream, half of the parmesan cheese, the milk, mix well and set aside.
2. In a bowl, mash the sardines with their sauce with a fork, add half the cream cheese, the half of heavy whipping cream and half of grated parmesan cheese.
3. In a medium platter greased with butter, place half of the mashed potatoes, the sardine filling, cover with mozzarella cheese and the rest of the mashed potatoes.
4. Take it to the oven for 20 minutes.

INGREDIENTES:
• 3 latas de sardinha no molho de tomate
• 1 kg de batata
• 1 copo (200g) de requeijão
• 1 caixa (200g) de creme de leite
• 1 pacote (100g) de queijo ralado
• 150g de mussarela
• 1/2 xícara (chá) de leite
• Margarina para untar
• Sal à gosto
Dica: A sardinha em lata pode ser substituída por atum.
MODO DE PREPARO:
1. Cozinhe as batatas com sal à gosto até ficarem macias. Passe as batatas pelo espremedor e junte metade do requeijão, metade do creme de leite e metade do queijo parmesão, o leite, misture bem e reserve.
2. Numa tigela amasse com um garfo as sardinhas com seu molho, junte a metade do requeijão, do creme de leite e do queijo ralado.
3. Num refratário médio (20x30cm) untado com margarina coloque a metade do purê de batata, o recheio de sardinha, cubra com queijo mussarela e com o restante do purê de batata.
4. Leve ao forno médio (180ºC), pré-aquecido, por 20 minutos ou até começar a dourar.
