Loveland police officers sued over alleged excessive force involving teen, father, dog

A consulting firm that the city of Loveland brought in to assess the Loveland Police Department last year amid several lawsuits filed over officers’ use of force in different cases is coming in to look at another case in which LPD officers are alleged to have used excessive force against a man, his teenage daughter, and their dog.
