World Health Organisation to rename Monkeypox

The World Health Organisation is working with experts to officially rename Monkeypox over concerns about stigma and racism.
More than 30 scientists have written to the organisation saying continued reference to the virus as African is inaccurate and discriminatory.
The World Health Organisation will meet next week to decide whether to classify the outbreak as a public health emergency of international concern.
