Canada's tourism industry applauds pausing of vaccine mandates, but wants more done

Canada is about to suspend COVID-19 vaccine mandates for plane and train passengers, allowing domestic and outbound international travellers to be able to board without requiring proof of their vaccine status.

The mandate will be lifted on June 20 and while the general public is mixed on the move, the tourism industry is hopeful to see attendance rise as the summer season gets underway.

But as Dan Spector explains, there's still more the industry would like to see done.
