2021 Volkswagen Taigun - The People's SUV from India | FIRST DRIVE

The 2021 Volkswagen Taigun is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) manufactured by the German automaker Volkswagen since 2021. Manufactured in India by VW and destined for the Indian market, the Taigun is based on the Volkswagen T-Cross. This vehicle is running for a @World Car TV Award.

UPDATE:
The Taigun 1.0 starts at $15,000 and tops off at $22,000 - the version I drove was manual with the virtual cluster and all features available. That costs $20,000.
The 1.5 TSI has a manual and a DSG (dual clutch) option. And that is priced at a tad over $20,000 and $24,000 respectively. Both have auto options. But on the 1.0 its a torque conv. Not the DSG. For more car information about cars in India follow: @sidpantanker https://www.CarandBike.com
