Day 1 of Chicago Bears Minicamp is in the books and the main focus is on Robert Quinn as he has opted to skip mandatory minicamp. Quinn trade rumors are ramping up once again as Bears head coach Matt Eberflus is clearly unhappy with Quinn’s absence as he said at his press conference that GM Ryan Poles will “handle that”. Bears Minicamp News continues with a Dakota Dozier injury update. Dozier was carted off the practice field at Halas Hall on Tuesday, leaving the Bears with even more questions at the right guard position. Sam Mustipher has been getting 1st-team reps at RG. Will the Bears address RG in NFL Free Agency? Quinton Spain and Ereck Flowers are both available and would both be upgrades. More Bears notes from minicamp include Justin Fields throwing a pick-6 to Jaylon Johnson as the Bears defense won today’s practice. Harrison notes that the Bears defense should be ahead of the Bears offense at this point in time. Elsewhere BetOnline released odds of where QBs Jimmy Garoppolo and Baker Mayfield will play next season. Da Bears were linked to both Jimmy G and Mayfield on those odds. Is there any scenario where Chicago would sign one of the veteran quarterbacks if they get released?
