EU has yet to decide about Ukraine’s ‘membership candidate status’

The European Commission has yet to decide whether to grant ‘membership candidate status’ to Ukraine. There has been increasing disquiet in Georgia and Moldova about giving precedence to Kiev, as the two nations have been on the waiting list for years. Meanwhile, some other EU countries are still hesitant.
