This my first bottle art commission. The collector wanted something similar to my bottle artwork “Mandala” but wanted a black with gold accent version. I took 3 weeks to make it. I re-used an empty wine bottle, epoxy clay, copper wire, beads, rhinestones, acrylic paints, acrylic gloss medium.

SAMSARA (Sanskrit) refers to the wheel of life/existence or the cycle of birth, mundance existence, death and rebirth.

The Angel's Trumpet flower (leaf, bud, half-open and full bloom) symbolizes various stages of life and the remains of a nautilus shell symbolizes death. In the language of flowers, the Angel’s Trumpet is a symbol of change, letting go, finding truth, taking challenges as well as rebirth and a new beginning.
Although its leaves and flowers are used to make medicine and despite its beauty and fragrance, all of its parts are considered poisonous and ingestion of the plant can cause disturbing hallucinations, paralysis, tachycardia, memory loss and can be fatal.
