Young brumby gelding colt charges dog. Is this dangerous? Introducing dogs to horses - 9 month pup

Introducing a new dog - a 9 month old pup - to our horses. In this video, a 3 year old gelded colt - a brumby pony and our oldest horse, a 29 year old Australian stock horse.
As you can see the dog is large breed, and has a mixture of forward breeds and has the instinct to chase. So it's important he does not harass or chase the horses and most important he never snaps at them.
There is a kangaroo skeleton the dog found on the property in the beginning of the video and I let him chew on it. People exclaim about it, I don't see the difference between that and him chewing on the beef or lamb bones I give him.
