An interesting mix of Jerry LaCroix singing lead with Rare Earth and the group Reunion with "Life is Rock" that speaks of Boss Jock radio from long ago when there were real personalities on the air as jocks and listeners took them seriously and paid attention to them and they made the music seem like magic.

Now you can have streaming audio in over one million ways and 99.9 times out of a hundred you have no clue to the name of the song you're listing to or who it is who is performing it. And this is considered progress?

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
