DIY Off Grid Shed build, Part 5: Roof Assembly

I'm no professional builder, but I can't get the shed I want commercially, so it's Do-It-Yourself time again. This roof video is the final exterior assembly. More episodes to follow.

We got a false start on the roof twice. The problem was getting the two roof side square to each other so the corrugated cap would fit and square to the shed itself. Even our third attempt was not too successful but we left it that way.

The only thing I think I should have known at the start was how to install the all the horizontal closure strips first. However, once it was all done, we sort of hid the roof's imperfections with trim. We drilled 200 holes for the screws and in the final result, only 6 leaked. I fixed some holes with double washers and the others with sealant to fill damaged holes.

Plans: All In My Head.
Wide Shot Camera: Tripod mounted Canon Vixia HF R300.
