If you're new to foraging, mulberries are a good place to start. They're easy to identify, don't have spikes or thorns, and are really tasty.

They also grow in a lot of the US! Look for them near water sources like streams, lakes, and rivers.

Ingredients for Mulberry Ice Cream Sauce:
1 cup mulberries without stems
1 cup water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Ingredients for Mini Tart Filling:
3 cups mulberries without stems
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
2 tablespoons lemon juice
about 2 tablespoons butter

Ingredients for Easy Pie Crust:
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1 tablespoon vinegar
5 tablespoons milk
