2009 Ford F-150 Repair - Engine Bulletproof - Part 8 - Removing Roller Followers & Installing Heads

This series is for entertainment purposes only!
Removing the roller followers is the safest way for us to reinstall the heads because all the valves are closed and we can spin the am shaft freely to set it in the correct spot.
Next is to install the heads but first we cleaned the heads one more time with 180 git 3M Roloc pads before installing the heads.
Installing the driver side head was not easy but it wasn't terrible difficult either.
Make sure the intermediate steering shaft if out of the way and you install the head on a much steeper angle then I tried the first time which was pretty much flat.
Once we knew how to install it the passenger side head went a lot easier.
Once the head blots were torqued we added a paint mark at the 3 o'clock because you have to turn the bolts an extra 270 degrees.
You turn all 10 bolts per head in 3 stages. Follow the series 1-10 and 90 degrees each time.
(3 to 6 o'clock, 6 to 9 o'clock and finally 9 to noon)
