I made this video 9 years ago trying to volunteer to be the first man on Mars but here we are and noone has made it yet. Hopefully it'll happen soon.

Due to the expense and fuel requirements of lifting a large object off the surface of Mars with almost 40% Earth Gravity and a thin atmosphere... it's beyond current budgets and pushes current technology to the limit to the point that it may never happen for 25 or 30 years unless we go on one way missions, each person can make it easier on the next by adding more habitats on the surface, eventually forming the first Martian City, the first Martian gardens could be made by the first settlers using inflatable greenhouses. Bricks can be made out of Mars dirt to build more habitats, some will die but millions died coming to the America's but it never stopped more from trying... If I can get corporate sponsors to fund this I will go... In my opinion Hygrogen bombs should be used on Mars polar caps and equitorial glaciers to warm the planet so pressure suits are not needed by humans... A chain reaction will take place that would form oceans, lakes, rivers, and thicken the atmosphere with carbon dioxide released from the martian soil... only an oxygen mask would be needed to walk around on the surface of Mars!!! Could be done for the cost of the Iraq War ...

It took Mars 3 Billion years to lose it's thick atmosphere, once Mars is warmed up... it will come back, Human activity along with power plants and the planting of millions of trees will replenish the atmosphere forever or until our Sun begins expanding in about 1 Billion years or so... by then Humans will infest the Galaxy!! lol Unless there's someone out there to stop us, maybe Humans have been Quarantined to the Planet Earth only thats why we stay in Low Earth Orbit ??? lol again...
