keto low carb peanut butter and jam chaffle sandwich #shorts
This Keto Low Carb Peanut Butter and Jam sandwich is only 15 grams of carbs.
20 grams or less is needed for ketosis (the fat-burning mode) and this keto low carb pb&j treat is both delicious and nutritious.
The peanut butter and the jam are made with organic ingredients with no sugar or additives, and are spread on zero carb waffles.
Chaffles get their name because of the cheese content
Recipe for zero carb chaffles:
1 large egg
1/2 cup of shredded or grated cheese (can be cheddar, mozzarella or any solid cheese of choice)
So simple.
Directions: Whisk the egg in a bowl and add the grated/shredded cheese gently mixing together with a fork.
Pour the mix in the waffle maker making sure the cheese is spread evenly throughout the egg. I use a wooden spoon to protect the non-stick coating.
Close waffle maker and wait until the light goes out or the steam stops. Usually takes 6 minutes. But check LOL. Makes one chaffle in the dash mini waffle maker.
Spread the peanut butter and jam on your chaffle and place together with another chaffle to make a sandwich or you could eat them open face.
