Paul gained a PhD from UCL in Egyptian archaeology in 2012. His work explores the touch-points between the ancient world and the modern, with particular reference to religious practices and beliefs, the esoteric, ancient iconography, and the political power matrices of past and present. He has appeared on the History Channel in the global release, 'Ancient Top Ten', on 'Egypt's Unexplained Files,' and as an expert on Sky News. He was the writer and presenter for SEGA's Total War mini-documentary series. Profane Humanities Podcast is where you can hear him talk all about history with experts and discuss various topics.
