Today we will learn about Reading Comprehension and use my book called Awesome Reading Comprehension Level 1. I will show you how to answer reading comprehension questions the easy way. First, we will take a look at the questions for the story. When you answer reading comprehension questions, the best thing to do first is to read the questions. Reading the questions helps you know what to look for in the story. After we have looked at the questions, we can read the story once to try and get an understanding of what the story is about. Now, we will look back at the questions and try to find exactly what they need us to look for in the story.
I will teach you a trick on how to read a question see which part you need to find in the story. Hint: The verb/action is what is most important and the biggest key word on where the answer will be in the story.

Stamos was a baker. He had worked as a baker for five years. He loved to
make bread and pastries for people. He made lots of bread loaves, baguettes, and sourdough. The kitchen was very hot, which Stamos didn’t like. He sweat a lot when he made bread in the oven. He had also burned himself many times when he was baking bread. Those were the things he did not like about being a baker.What he loved about baking bread was being in the bakery and giving the bread to customers. Some customers came to buy bread for dinner. They would come after work and they were very tired. These customers were happy that Stamos made delicious bread for them. There were also children who came with their parents. They loved to buy doughnuts. Stamos sometimes gave the children a free cookie. Stamos really loved the happy customers because he knew his baking made them happy.
