MY GO TO SET UP FOR #ANGRAECOIDS & #RENANTHERAS . These pots, although very expensive, are worth their price for all my angraecoids and my #Renantheramonachica . The set up, a mix of #lavarock, #seramis and #leca has proven that the roots are very happy with their surroundings. If a repot were ever need to be undertaken, then it would be with the least amount of root disturbance. However, this set up eventually needs to be maintained because, in my climate, I get regular salt build up and, as you will see in this video, moss... lots of moss! Ever so often, I have to address the state of the pots, and here I show you why. With roots firmly established in the pot, and the option of removing the base.
