O Canada! read in English, by Andrew Miller. Travel along the road towards St. Thomas and feel inspired by Robert Stanley Weir's lyrics of O Canada. For those who want a change from singing O Canada, try reading the national anthem and really take in the meaning of the lyrics.

Robert Stanley Weir (1856-1926) wrote the words of O Canada! The voice recording was done in 2006 in honour of Canada Day, by LibriVox reader, Andrew Miller, as part of a weekly poetry project (Librivox is a Public Domain project that aims to make as many books and poems in the public domain available for free in audio format on the Internet as possible).

The visuals are from a drive to St Thomas, Ontario in December, 2020.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all our sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Music - "Parable" by Lance Conrad (Storyblocks).
