Losing our individuality, Brain Implants and alternatives to our drone like future

In this video I discuss and contemplate the possibility of altering the seemingly inevitable future of humanity, a future direction that is starting to seem more and more inevitable. In this seemingly inevitable future, the merging of man and machine is a given, and while there may be many great benefits from this future technology, indeed it is not my wish to put down this technology as a great deal of it is quite helpful to all of us, there are though aspects of this encroaching technological inevitability that we should consider very carefully.
As I stated in the video, perhaps our future cannot be altered completely, but it might be possible to at least offset some of those technological developments, that may curtail or completely erase a great deal of our individuality permanently.
