Since then , Rainbow has recorded eight studio albums ... The brainchild of Richie Blackmore, Rainbow quickly turned into one of the most successful hard and heavy bands of the 70s, and largely thanks to the charismatic frontman Ronnie James Dio. Together, the duo Blackmore-Dio has released four albums (three studio albums), which are still considered classics of their genre. But after the vocalist left, the band repeatedly changed their musical approach, which eventually confused and alienated some of their audience.
