Man arrested after throwing woman onto subway tracks
In a horrifying attack that almost ended in tragedy (thankfully the victim is now recovering), a man was caught on CCTV physically lifting up a woman and hurling her onto the train tracks at a New York City subway station.
Bronx man Theodore Ellis, 30, carried out the bizarre and unprovoked attack on the 52-year-old woman in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon, and was arrested after a police appeal led to his identification.
Ellis has now been charged with assault and reckless endangerment, although who knows how
close he came to being charged with murder.
