Here you can see a garbage bin for bombs. These metal devices were placed in various cities for disposal of suspicious objects that were potential bombs. Now Israel is a safe country, and these bins have not been in use for decades. They are all locked. I bet that 99% of Israelis don’t even know what they are. So why am I talking about them? Because, oddly enough, you will see them next to the two most-visited places in Israel: the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall.
