Ten years ago, many spotted one (possibly more) GIANT turtle(s) at Oakbank Pond in Thornhill (Vaughn, Ontario, Canada). Since then, has the giant turtle disappeared? We have not been able to see it...Here is footage from 2011 where you can see beautiful Oakbank Pond in the Greater Toronto Area, ducks and...a giant turtle!! Another youtuber who spotted the giant turtle is surrfmonkey:

By 2013, there was this report of turtles at Oakbank Pond -also a nice video - but the turtles seemed smaller.

On our first visit, we remembered the turtle being the size of a coffee table....could that be? could this wonderful creature have been a turtle that was gigantic, over 100 years old? In this video, it does not seem "quite as big"...The giant turtle or turtles at Oakbank Pond remains a mystery in the Greater Toronto Area...the stuff of legends...here you will indeed see a large-sized turtle residing in Thornhill..maybe not legendary...but pretty impressive! Has anyone seen this turtle since? Please comment! We'd love to hear from you! The tiny turtles are cute too, with their heads peaking out, and of course, the beautiful ducks...
Thank you so much for watching!
