It is out hearts prayer to God that in the coming new year, that you turn to seeking God's face, read His Word and fellowship with His people. Your goal must be to have a closer walk with God if you are a child of God. If you don't know Him as your savior, then Jesus said, "You MUST be born again!"

Dear Bethel family,

As 2020 ends, I want to send a note of encouragement to you all. This year was certainly unique in some ways and we find ourselves making major changes that have affected all our lives. I am especially thankful to the Lord for the great spirit that has been maintained in our church throughout the pandemic, and I really appreciate the many who stepped forward to help us through the process. Let’s all remember to take time to thank God for his blessings upon us and for His guidance in the new year.

One of the specific things that I am thankful for and give the Lord all the glory, is that the Lord has protected Bethel. In the entire time that we have been dealing with the pandemic, and through the time we have been meeting in-person, there has not been even one case of this virus that was contracted by people being in our church! That is a tremendous blessing, and we seek His continued watch-care over our congregation. As we enter 2021, we are optimistic that we will be getting back to “normal” soon, especially as the death rate for the disease is consistently deceasing and the vaccines are becoming available. In the meantime, we will continue to adhere to the updated guidelines we sent out back at the end of August so that we are careful in our continued meeting together. Please remember that we are asking all to always wear a mask. The only exception would be at your seat during a service.

Furthermore, if you believe that you have been directly exposed to a person who contracted Covid-19, or anyone who has a fever or demonstrates symptoms of the virus described by the CDC, please contact one of the church leaders or Deacons, and stay at home for an agreed upon time. Of course, anyone who gets the virus and tests positive for it should notify a church leader or Deacon, and not attend church, as well as quarantine according to your doctor’s orders and the CDC guidelines.

Our church family has consistently demonstrated a cooperative spirit so I am confident that we will continue to do well, and I look forward to what God is going to do in our midst in the year ahead. Please remember that we will be meeting at church from 7-10 pm on Thursday evening.

Our theme is: “GOD’S REFRESHMENT”. Please join us and share this encouraging time together in preparation for this new year.
