Ep. 29: Battleground Women in Sports- Birkeland and Erhardt leading the charge

Barbara Ehardt is the Idaho legislator who passed the first legislation in the nation to protect women in sports. She was a college and youth basketball coach for many years and has significant experience in the area. She has since been working with many states around the nation who have been passing similar bills and she gives Kim and Carolyn an update on her work nationwide and the progress of the lawsuit filed immediately after the passage of her bill.

In Utah, recently, two families filed lawsuits against the state for HB 11, Protecting Women in Sports. Kera Birkeland is the sponsor of HB 11 and talks to Kim and Carolyn about her background and the latest news. 

Kim and Carolyn also discuss the Utah Debate Commission and their inappropriate social media content.
