OKCPD rescues three kayakers from Lake Hefner

Oklahoma City Police Department's Hefner Patrol division recently rescued three kayakers who capsized at Lake Hefner.

According to police, the three kayakers were out on the lake late at night on May 29 when their kayak capsized. Police said it like capsized due to high winds and choppy waters, which ended with the three individuals being thrown into the water.

Due to quick response times from OKCPD, all kayakers were found and brought to safety.
