The English Premier League has filed two patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The application includes the league's name and logo, as well as the "loving cup trophy" emblem. It appears that the football league intends to expand into other industries such as NFTs, cryptocurrencies, digital tokens, digital collectibles, digital trading cards, digital art, crypto trading, virtual footwear, clothes, headgear, and sportswear. Manchester City, the Premier League champions, have already begun to make inroads into the notion.
