Meet Dr. Kuʻualoha Hoʻomanawanui. Ku’ualoha is a kanaka ʻōiwi from Kaua’i. She is a professor at UH-Mānoa, a scholar, poet, artist & a kiaʻi aloha ʻāina. She is the author of Voices of Fire, interpreting the Pele & Hiʻiaka saga from a native perspective. Come out to the Ancestral Stories event & hear more exciting stories. “Haʻina mai ka puana!”
Ancestral Stories: Moʻokūʻauhau o ka Lāhui, June 2, 4:30-9pm, at the Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall. Tickets are $20. Students K-12 are FREE
Ho’olauleʻa, June 4, 11am-4pm at Pā’ula’ula. Live music, hula, cultural displays & arts and crafts to make or buy. Fun for the entire ʻohana.
